About Kim
What gets me out of bed in the morning? Learning something new and creating fun ways of learning to do new things. On my blog, I’m slowly moving towards expressing this, starting with providing access to and increasing awareness of inspiring stories. Ideally, things that kids and adults can do together. I have to dream big and the first step in achieving my dreams is to announce them to the world. This About Kim page will evolve accordingly.
I’m interested in many things and I strongly believe many of you are too. That’s why you will find blog posts about all kinds of topics on WheretoKim. They all have one thing in common: inspiration.
Some facts: my name is Kim and I am a 32-year-old woman living in the Netherlands. Five days a week I work in a home office teaching computers to understand texts. I specialize in semantic technologies: technologies that help us derive meaning from data.
My greatest passions: reading, traveling, learning languages and trying out new technologies. On my days off I explore my country and on holidays I explore the world.
